ALSCO® Metals Corporation Expands Size Offerings on The CONTOURS Collection(TM) by ALSCO® Product Line

RALEIGH, N.C. --- ALSCO® Metals Corporation, the nation's largest supplier of aluminum building products for the new construction and remodeling markets, announces the expansion of size options on Frieze offered in its popular CONTOURS Collection(TM) by ALSCO® line of exterior trim products. The one-year-old line of aluminum Frieze and Fascia boasts the look of custom wood millwork without the hassles and costs that go along with it.  

Beginning April 1 the company plans to offer its virtually maintenance-free CONTOURS Frieze in 18-foot lengths, in addition to the 12-foot lengths already offered through the product line.  

Adding this new length is a natural progression for the product line, explains ALSCO Director of Marketing Kathy Balzer.   "The availability of extended lengths greatly reduces or eliminates overlaps on all roof gables and it cuts down 90 percent of seams on horizontal straight runs, creating smooth look on a trim project," she says.   "This is something that our customers have been asking for since we introduced The CONTOURS Collection in 2004."

Not only are The CONTOURS Collection Frieze getting longer, they're getting wider.

ALSCO is also introducing a new 9-1/4" Flush Frieze featuring the flush-mounting system, designed for use on a variety of exterior surfaces for ease of installation.   The wider Frieze makes a stunning statement on exteriors of all sizes, especially when coupled with The CONTOURS Collection 6" Fascia.

Upgrading the sizes offered on The CONTOURS Collection Frieze products is just one way that ALSCO is working to ensure that builders, remodelers and contractors have installer-friendly products that are compatible with conventional building techniques without the need for custom framing or blocking on their remodeling and new construction projects.

The CONTOURS Collection Fascia and Frieze products are offered in six stock colors - white, sierra, savannah wicker, terratone, beige and royal brown.   Custom colors are available.
